Truck Adda – Terms and Conditions

1) Acceptance
By creating an account, submitting an OTP, or using Truck Adda (“the App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
2) Roles and eligibility
- Roles: client, truck porter/company, truck driver.
- You confirm you are legally able to contract in your jurisdiction and that any company information provided is accurate and authorized.
- Drivers and porters must hold valid licenses and permissions required to provide transport services.
3) Accounts and security
- You must keep login methods (phone/OTP, tokens) secure and notify us of suspected unauthorized use.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
4) App use and responsibilities
- Clients: provide accurate pickup/dropoff, load details (category, weight), and contact info.
- Porters: verify company/fleet details, bid honestly, assign suitable trucks/drivers, and honor accepted bookings.
- Drivers: maintain valid documents, follow traffic laws, and update trip status accurately.
- All users: no unlawful content, harassment, spam, or interference with the App; do not misuse location, voice notes, or documents.
5) Bookings, bids, and execution
- The App facilitates discovery, bidding, assignment, and coordination; it does not guarantee availability or completion.
- Parties are responsible for agreeing to final terms (pricing, timing, scope) and for compliance with applicable transport regulations.
- Cancellations or disputes should be resolved promptly between involved parties; we may assist at our discretion.
6) Payments (if offered)
- Payments may be facilitated by third-party processors; additional terms may apply.
- Fees, taxes, and currency conversions are your responsibility where applicable.
7) Communications and notifications
- We may send OTPs, trip updates, security alerts, and service messages. You may manage notification permissions in device settings; some features depend on them.
8) Location and device features
- Location access is used to show nearby loads/vehicles and track trip status. Accuracy depends on device settings and network conditions.
- Microphone, camera, and file access are used only for features you invoke (e.g., voice notes, document uploads).
9) Third-party services
- Maps, analytics, crash reporting, OTP/SMS, hosting, and storage may be provided by third parties (e.g., Google/Android services, Expo). Their terms and privacy practices apply in addition to ours.
10) Intellectual property
- The App, logos, and content are owned by Truck Adda or its licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.
- Do not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.
11) User content
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use content you provide (e.g., load details, documents, photos, voice notes) solely to operate and improve the App.
- You represent you have rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe others’ rights.
12) Prohibited conduct
- No attempts to bypass security, scrape, or overload the service.
- No posting of illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or harmful content.
- No impersonation or misrepresentation of identity, vehicles, or documents.
13) Availability and changes
- The App may experience downtime, updates, or changes in features. We may modify or discontinue features with or without notice.
14) Disclaimers
- The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific earnings, or the conduct of other users.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
15) Limitation of liability
- To the extent permitted by law, Truck Adda is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
- Our total liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to us for the service in the 3 months before the claim or (b) USD 50 (or local equivalent), unless prohibited by law.
16) Indemnity
- You agree to indemnify and hold Truck Adda harmless from claims arising from your use of the App, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
17) Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, or legal reasons. Certain provisions (e.g., IP, liability limits, indemnity) survive termination.
18) Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Disputes will first be attempted through good-faith negotiation with us. If unresolved, parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pakistan, unless another forum is required by applicable law.
19) Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will change, and material changes may be communicated in-app or via other reasonable means. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
