Truck Adda - Privacy Policy Owner/Developer: Haider Mansoor Last updated: 10 February 2026 1) Who we are Truck Adda ("the App", "we", "us") is owned and operated by Haider Mansoor and digitizes the truck porter ecosystem in Pakistan for clients, truck porters/companies, and truck drivers. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect data when you use the App or our related services. 2) Scope This policy applies to all users and roles (client, truck porter/company, driver) who access the App via mobile devices or web views. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. 3) Data we collect - Account & identity: name, phone number, OTP codes, role, CNIC/ID details you submit, company details (for porters), driver license/truck details (for drivers). - Contact & communications: messages, voice notes, support requests. - Location: precise or approximate location (for pickup/dropoff selection, matching, live tracking, driver status). - Device & app info: device model, OS, app version, language, IP address, time zone, crash and performance data. - Usage data: screens viewed, buttons tapped, feature usage, interaction timestamps. - Files & media: photos/documents you upload (e.g., CNIC, licenses, truck images), optional voice notes. - Diagnostics & analytics: error logs and events for stability and performance. 4) How we use data - Provide and operate the App, including booking creation, bidding, driver assignment, navigation hints, notifications, and in-app communications. - Verify identities, roles, vehicles, and compliance requirements. - Show nearby loads/vehicles using location to improve relevance and safety. - Secure accounts, detect fraud or abuse, and enforce terms. - Improve performance, fix bugs, and analyze usage to guide product decisions. - Send service messages (OTP, trip updates, security alerts) and, when permitted, product announcements. 5) Legal bases (where applicable) We process data to perform our contract with you (service delivery), to comply with legal obligations (KYC/verification), based on your consent (e.g., location access, notifications, microphone), and for our legitimate interests (security, service improvement). You may withdraw consent in device settings where applicable. 6) Sharing and disclosure - Other users/roles: essential booking details (pickup/dropoff, load category, bid amount, assigned driver/porter), live status, and contact options as needed to fulfill a trip. - Service providers (only as needed to run the App): hosting, analytics/crash reporting, SMS/OTP delivery, map/location services, push notifications, and file storage. These providers access data only to perform services for us. If we add or change providers, we will update this list. - Compliance and safety: to law enforcement or regulators when legally required or to protect rights, safety, or property. - Business changes: in a merger, acquisition, or sale, data may be transferred subject to this policy. We do not sell personal data. 7) Permissions and device access - Location: for nearby booking discovery, route context, and live trip status. - Microphone: for optional voice notes. - Camera/Photos/Files: to upload documents, truck photos, or proof of delivery. - Notifications: to deliver booking status, bids, and security alerts. You can revoke permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without them. 8) Data retention We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with law, or to resolve disputes. Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained longer for analytics and safety. Deletion requests: email addacofounders@gmail.com with your phone number and role; we verify (e.g., via OTP) and delete personal data unless retention is legally required. We aim to respond within 30 days. 9) Data security - TLS/HTTPS in transit; restricted access on a need-to-know basis. - Token-based authentication (e.g., JWT) with refresh/expiry. - Regular monitoring for suspicious activity and rate limiting where applicable. No method is 100% secure; report issues to the contact below. 10) International transfers Data may be processed on servers outside your country. We use reasonable safeguards (e.g., contractual protections) when transferring data. 11) Your rights Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights, contact us at the email below; we will verify your request (e.g., via OTP) and respond within a reasonable time. 12) Children The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to delete it. 13) Data Safety (Play Console alignment) - Collected: identity/contact, location, device IDs, app activity, crash logs, files/media, voice notes. - Purposes: core functionality (bookings, bids, assignments), account verification, security/fraud prevention, analytics/performance, communication. - Sharing: with service providers and counterparties only as necessary for the features used; no data is sold. - Security: HTTPS in transit; access controls; token-based auth. Ensure your Data Safety form in Play Console matches these practices and is updated when features change. 14) Changes to this policy We may update this policy to reflect changes in features or laws.
